Description
The City of Richmond is seeking a qualified fireworks contractor to design, supply, and execute a 16‑18‑minute fireworks display for its annual Lake Reba 4th‑of‑July celebration. The contractor must provide all shells, equipment, qualified personnel, and handle logistics, safety compliance, and site cleanup, while adhering to strict manufacturer mix and insurance requirements. The award will be based on proposal suitability, experience, value, and technical expertise.
• Design a 16‑18‑minute display with a 4‑minute finale, using shells from at least six listed manufacturers.
• Supply all fireworks, provide set‑up/break‑down services, and obtain required permits at least one month before the event.
• Meet insurance (minimum $5 M general liability and hazardous materials) and licensing requirements; submit three budget options ($21k, $23k, $25k).
