The VA New Jersey Health Care facility at Lyons, NJ is seeking a qualified Service‑Disabled Veteran‑Owned Small Business to replace its No. 6 boiler feed pump. The contract includes removal of the existing pump, installation of a government‑furnished rebuilt pump, laser alignment, testing, and delivery of the removed pump as a rebuilt spare. The work must be completed within an eight‑hour boiler‑plant shutdown and overall within 30 days of award.
• Remove existing Pentair/Aurora Model 431B pump (serial 25‑2675625) and transport to contractor for overhaul.
• Install the rebuilt pump, perform laser alignment, lockout/tagout coordination, and verify operation at 220‑250 psi.
• Provide an overhaul seal kit (Aurora 476‑0393‑644) and a new rotating assembly as a spare part; warranty coverage of one year for supplied materials.
• All work performed on‑site by VA personnel with contractor providing only mechanical labor; no site visit or pre‑bid conference required.
