Police Department UPS Service Contract

The City of St. Petersburg is seeking bids from a qualified vendor to provide all-inclusive preventive maintenance and services for six Liebert (VERTIV eXM) Uninterrupted Power Supply Units (UPS) located at the St. Petersburg Police Department Headquarters Building. The contract will be for an initial term of three years, with the option to renew for two additional one-year periods. The vendor will be responsible for providing all labor, materials, technical support, documentation, supervision, tools, equipment, replacement batteries, and vehicles necessary to troubleshoot and repair the UPS systems. The vendor will also be required to provide annual preventative maintenance services, as-needed corrective repair services, and replacement of batteries for two UPS systems per year. • The vendor must have a minimum of five years of experience in providing UPS services. • The vendor must have the ability to obtain the minimum insurance requirements set forth in the agreement. • The vendor must be free from legal and regulatory matters that might prevent the vendor from fulfilling the obligations of the agreement. • The vendor must provide a single point of contact, a dedicated account manager, to administer the agreement. • The vendor must provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and services to replace all the batteries in two UPS systems per year. • The vendor must provide emergency service contact information and respond to emergencies within four hours of phone call notification.
