State Mandate Claims Preparations and Consulting Services

The City of Los Angeles is seeking a consultant to prepare, file, and research state mandate reimbursement claims. The consultant will assist city staff in determining claims, gathering cost data, and performing in-service training. The consultant will also represent the city in state audits and provide expert consultation as needed. The contract will be for one year with two optional one-year extensions. • The consultant must have experience with state mandate claims and SB 90 issues. • The consultant must provide a list of references and a description of their team's experience and capabilities. • The consultant must provide a not-to-exceed fee for each state mandate claim and hourly rates for general advisory services. • The consultant must comply with all city policies and procedures, including those related to insurance, indemnity, and business tax registration.
