Description
The California Department of Water Resources is seeking a qualified contractor to provide full‑service modular furniture installation, refurbishment, and related logistics across multiple DWR facilities. The scope includes disassembly, re‑configuration, repair, repainting, fabric removal, steam‑cleaning, inventory management, and transportation of modular office furniture, with all labor, tools, equipment, and materials supplied by the contractor. Work orders will be capped at $120,000 each and must be authorized by signed work orders before work begins. The contract is for a base period of three years with optional extensions, and the contractor must maintain a Sacramento‑area presence and meet strict licensing, bonding, insurance, and prevailing‑wage requirements.
• Install, re‑configure, and repair modular panels (Allsteel, Haworth, CA Correctional Training & Rehabilitation Authority).
• Provide inventory, warehouse management, and steam‑cleaning of existing furniture stock.
• Supply moving vans with lift‑gates, handle all transportation and on‑site waste disposal, and submit detailed daily reports and invoices.
