Description

The South Carolina Department of Natural Resources is seeking qualified vendors to remove, destroy, and properly dispose of ten abandoned vessels located within the state. The contract will cover all aspects of vessel removal, including site assessment, safe extraction, cutting or dismantling, hazardous material handling, transportation, and final disposal in compliance with state and federal environmental regulations. Interested firms must review the scope of work, conduct a site visit (recommended but not mandatory), and submit a bid by the specified deadline. • Remove each vessel safely from its current location. • Perform demolition/destruction as required, handling any hazardous materials. • Transport and dispose of all vessel components in accordance with applicable regulations. • Provide documentation of compliance, waste manifests, and final disposal receipts. • Ensure all work meets safety and environmental standards set by SCDNR.
