Description
The City of Trenton is seeking professional services operations for the Department of Water and Sewer, Trenton Water Works, Water Filtration Plant. The selected firm will provide various services, including a Compliance Manager, Public Relations and Engagement Manager, Distribution System Operators, Meter Specialists, Water Treatment Plant Repairer, and additional staff resources as needed. The contract will be for a period of one year. The City of Trenton is looking for a firm with experience in providing similar services to water utilities. The proposal should include a detailed description of the firm's experience, approach to staffing, and cost proposal.
Some key responsibilities of the selected firm will include:
- Ensuring compliance with regulations applicable to the Trenton Water Works utility
- Coordinating with the Training Contract manager to ensure that all continuing education training for licensed professionals is current and in compliance with applicable regulations
- Developing and memorializing Standard Operating Procedures and Best Practices for institutions like Trenton Water Works
- Providing responses to posts and reports to the Director or designee regarding engagement and/or general trends in social media mentions
- Assisting the management and assessment of distribution system technicians
- Implementing a unidirectional flushing program in coordination with the Engineering lead
- Developing a dashboard to identify any known closed valves within the system
- Reviewing, updating, and providing any newly required SOPs for the distribution system
- Coordinating with the TWW Distribution System Manager to develop a dashboard to identify any known closed valves within the system
