Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is seeking interest in the opportunity to provide water weights for rental in support of Albeni Falls Dam. The rental period is for 5 days, and the equipment must meet specific safety standards and regulations. The contractor will be responsible for delivering and picking up the equipment, as well as ensuring that it is in good working order and compatible as a working system. The equipment must include water bags, shackles, master links, flow meters, and load cells, among other components.
* The water bags must have a capacity of 35T per bag and meet the LEEA 051 safety standard.
* The shackles must have a capacity of 85T WLL or greater.
* The master links must connect the shackles to the crane load blocks and have a capacity of 85T WLL or greater.
* The flow meters and load cells must be certified and have current calibration certificates.
