Description
The California Department of Highway Patrol is soliciting a single‑award IFB for full‑service janitorial cleaning at its San Luis Obispo Area Office. The contractor must provide daily cleaning (five days per week) covering offices, restrooms, breakrooms, windows, flooring, and exterior areas, following a detailed scope (Exhibit A). The contract runs from 1 June 2026 to 31 May 2027 with one optional one‑year extension, and a minimum 5 % participation by Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises is required. Bidders must attend a mandatory site walk‑through on 20 April 2026 unless they already attended the 26 Feb 2026 walk‑through.
• 5 days/week, ≈ 30 hrs total per week (≈ 6 hrs/day)
• Required hourly labor rate $16.31, blended benefit $15.51, plus supplies and overhead
• Contract value approx. $62,400 (historical) with potential adjustments for preferences/incentives
