The Birdville Independent School District (BISD) is issuing a multi‑award competitive sealed‑proposal solicitation for Special Education Contracted Services. The contract will be used on an as‑needed basis to provide a wide range of specialty services (audiology, psychology, speech‑language pathology, occupational therapy, behavior analysis, etc.) that supplement district staff. Services are to be delivered by independent contractors or firms and billed on a fee‑per‑hour basis; mileage is not reimbursed. The base contract term is December 1 2026 – November 30 2027 (one year) with the option to extend up to three additional one‑year periods (maximum four years) if mutually agreed.
