Return to Work Physicals (RTW), Fitness for Duty Physicals, and Drug and Alcohol

The Suburban Mobility Authority for Regional Transportation (SMART) is soliciting competitive quotes from qualified vendors for Return-to-Work Physicals (RTW), Fitness for Duty Physicals, and Drug and Alcohol Testing Services. The contract will be for three years with two one-year renewal options. The selected vendor will provide health services for employees at SMART's Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb Terminals, including return-to-work physicals, fitness-for-duty physicals, and specimen collections for drug and alcohol testing. • Return-to-work physicals and fitness-for-duty physicals for safety-sensitive and non-safety-sensitive employees • Specimen collections for drug and alcohol testing • Pulmonary function tests • Same-day verbal test results and electronic results within three business days • Access to a DHHS-certified lab for drug and alcohol testing
