Description
The Office of State Procurement is seeking bids for the removal and installation of a metal roofing and wall system for the Eastern LA Mental Health System (ELMHS) located at the Eastern Mental Health Hospital. The job requires the contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and services necessary to remove the existing metal roofing and wall panels and install a new T panel metal roofing and wall system, including associated structural repairs and upgrades. The contract may be extended for 2 additional 12-month periods.
Key points to consider:
• The contractor must have a Contractors' License Number in the appropriate classification(s) such as Building Construction and/or Roofing and Sheet Metal, Siding.
• A bid security (insurance company, bank money order, certified check, or cashier’s check) must be included with the bidder’s submission in the sum of 5% of the amount bid.
• The contractor must comply with all applicable federal and state laws and regulations, including those related to civil rights, disabilities, and environmental protection.
• The contractor must provide a completed Attachment B - Jobsite Verification Form or a signed letter from the Agency representative stating that the vendor has visited the jobsite.
• The contractor must submit all bids and addenda in an envelope or package clearly marked with the bid opening date and the bid number.
