26-025-LH BUILDING DEPARTMENT ADMINISTRATION SERVICE PROVIDER (1/8/26)

Macon-Bibb County is seeking a Building Department Administration Service Provider to manage and operate multiple buildings/departments. The provider will be responsible for tasks such as permit processing, inspection services, compliance monitoring, and more. The contract will be for one year, with the option for renewal. The provider must have at least 10 years of experience providing similar services and be licensed to do business in the state of Georgia. • The provider must have a Building Official with at least 5 years of experience and 3 years in an appointing authority position. • The provider must have a technical staff with the necessary qualifications, education, and experience to carry out their job responsibilities. • The provider must have a planned approach to overseeing building/department administration, coordination of personnel and subcontractors, processing permits, estimating, and schedule control. • The provider must have expertise and qualifications of key staff, including the Building Official and other key personnel. • The provider must submit an itemized fee proposal that includes all costs necessary to successfully perform the services described in the solicitation.
