Description
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is seeking a qualified contractor to provide electrical accessory installation/upfitting of SmartWitness dash camera systems for 43 Department vehicles. The contract will be awarded to the lowest cost provider of the estimated quantities from all bids received that are deemed both responsive and responsible for the project. The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary supervision, labor, tools, equipment, transportation, and technical expertise for the proper installation of the camera systems. The project is expected to commence upon issuance of a contract or purchase order and shall expire one year after the effective date.
Key aspects of the project include:
• Installation of SmartWitness dash camera systems in 43 Department vehicles
• Provision of all necessary supervision, labor, tools, equipment, transportation, and technical expertise
• Compliance with industry best practices and PennDOT specifications
• Warranty of one year on all installation services
