Description

The County of San Mateo is hosting an event entitled "Future-Proof Your Multifamily Property: Rebates, Resources & Energy Efficiency Made Simple" to showcase the value of energy efficiency upgrades and transitioning to efficient electric appliances. The County is seeking vendors with experience in multifamily retrofits involving energy efficiency and the shift from natural gas to electric equipment. Vendors may include developers, electricians, plumbers, HVAC contractors, general contractors, building performance contractors, designers, and architects. The event will take place on May 19, 2026, in Redwood City, CA. Vendors interested in tabling must arrive at least an hour in advance to set up and stay through the entire event. Key points to consider: • The event is free for vendors to table, but speakers will not be paid. • Vendors must fill out a brief Request for Information (RFI) questionnaire by April 30, 5:00 pm. • The County is partnering with several cities and organizations to host the event. • The event aims to educate multifamily property owners and managers about the benefits of energy efficiency upgrades. • Vendors must have experience in multifamily retrofits and energy efficiency to be considered.

Budget estimate

$5,000 – $50,000

Since the document does not specify a payment amount, it's challenging to estimate the budget. However, considering the event's focus on energy efficiency and the involvement of multiple vendors, a rough estimate could be between $5,000 to $50,000. This estimate is based on the assumption that the County may provide some funding for the event, and vendors may receive compensation for their services or products. Factors that may influence the payment range include the number of vendors participating, the scope of work, and the County's budget for the event.
