CRREL Grounds Maintenance Services

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is seeking a contractor to provide grounds maintenance services at the Cold Regions Research and Engineering Laboratory (CRREL) in Hanover, New Hampshire. The services include maintaining healthy grass, trees, shrubs, and plants, as well as performing snow and ice removal, leaf collection and removal, and other related tasks. The contract will be for a base year with four option years and one six-month option. The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, and other items and services necessary to perform the work. • The contractor will maintain the growth of grass height on improved grounds between 1.5 to 3 inches and on semi-improved grounds from 2 to 5 inches in height. • The contractor will perform edging, trimming, and pruning of trees, shrubs, and hedges. • The contractor will remove debris and police the grounds to maintain a clean and well-kept appearance. • The contractor will apply herbicide to areas damaged by insects or overgrown by invasive plants. • The contractor will perform snow and ice removal, including plowing, shoveling, and treating with salt, sand, and ice melt.
