North 3 Utilities Extension Project (UEP) Contract 2 - Area 901 & 904

The City of Cape Coral is seeking bids for the North 3 Utilities Extension Project (UEP) Contract 2 - Area 901 & 904. The project involves the construction of potable water mains, irrigation water mains, sewer force mains, gravity sewer mains, sewer lift stations, storm drain and pipe replacements, restoration, road reconstruction, landscaping, roundabout, bridge modifications, canal crossings, stormwater pond, and other related work. The contract duration is approximately 720 calendar days. The City requires the contractor to have a valid General Contractor's license through the State of Florida and a local competency license. The bid submission deadline is August 27, 2026, at 1:30 pm. • The project includes the construction of approximately 3,217 linear feet of 6" DI potable water main, 30,742 linear feet of 6" PVC potable water main, and 11,518 linear feet of 8" PVC potable water main. • The project also includes the construction of approximately 1,851 linear feet of 4" DI irrigation main, 29,550 linear feet of 4" PVC irrigation main, and 9,526 linear feet of 6" PVC irrigation main. • The contractor will be required to provide mobilization and demobilization costs, maintenance of traffic costs, and restoration costs. • The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities or informalities when in the best interest of the citizens of the City of Cape Coral.
