Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a vendor to provide Omnicell medication dispensing cabinets, including hardware and software, to be integrated into the existing pharmacy dispensing automation and operating system. The vendor must provide all necessary tools, equipment, and personnel for proper installation and testing of the equipment. The contract will be for a period of 365 days from the date of award. The vendor must also provide 24/7 customer support. Key features of the required equipment include real-time inventory tracking, medication storage, access and return functionality, and reporting functions. The equipment must be compatible with Omnicell cabinets and meet the minimum requirements specified in the solicitation.
Some of the key responsibilities of the contractor include:
• Providing all necessary tools, equipment, and personnel for proper installation and testing of the equipment
• Ensuring the equipment is fully integrated with the existing pharmacy automation systems
• Providing 24/7 customer support
• Working with the pharmacy service to identify cabinets that require flexlocks to be installed
