JB CHS Giant Voice System Maintenance and Repair Services

The US Air Force is seeking a contractor to provide preventative maintenance inspections and emergency/on-call services for the Giant Voice System at Joint Base Charleston, South Carolina. The contractor will be responsible for performing two semi-annual preventative maintenance inspections on 16 Giant Voice sirens and three control points, as well as providing emergency/on-call services as needed. The contractor must utilize SiRcom-certified technicians and maintain active SiRcom Value-Add Reseller (VAR) status. Some key tasks include: * Ensuring all cards are seated and operating properly * Checking operational status of internal fans * Cleaning filters as applicable * Checking and re-seating cables and connectors as necessary * Defragmenting the hard drive and cleaning the hard drive carrier * Completing preventative maintenance of the siren electronics and computers per manufacturer’s specifications * Repairing or replacing batteries, siren drivers, amplifiers, power supplies, solar panels, computers, microphones, etc. as necessary * Inspecting the speaker array, siren control enclosure, and remote terminal units
