Description
The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) is seeking to renew a firm-fixed price delivery order for brand name commercial off-the-shelf Zuken E3 Electrical Design Software Suite Subscription. The software support is required to sustain existing infrastructure and will be procured through authorized resellers of the original equipment manufacturer (OEM). The class justification and approval (J&A) will justify software support requirements for a period of five years, from January 1, 2026, to December 31, 2030.
• The software support is essential to the Government’s requirements, as it is necessary to maintain the operability and usability of the software products.
• The class J&A will allow for the procurement of software support through various contract vehicles, including NASA SEWP, Army CHESS, GSA Federal Supply Schedules, and the open market.
• The contracting officer will determine price reasonableness at the individual contract or order level, based on comparisons of competitive quotes, historical prices, and commercial price lists.
• The Government will continue to search the marketplace for alternative software solutions and will seek open competition if the OEM elects to surrender their legal ownership, copyright, and/or intellectual property software rights.
