Description
The Town of Jamaica is seeking bids for the engineering and design of the replacement wingwall on Jamaica Town Bridge B00034 Goodaleville Road. The proposed work includes the engineering and design of a new concrete wingwall to the specifications outlined. A mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for April 7, 2026, at 8:00 am. Sealed bids will be received at the Jamaica Town Office until 12:00 PM on April 13, 2026. The project funding comes from the Town of Jamaica and FEMA. The successful bidder will be required to perform all work for the specified sums, including pre-construction, design phase, and other related tasks.
• The bidder must be familiar with the nature and extent of the bid specifications, work site, and local, state, and federal permitting requirements.
• The bidder must provide a complete bid package, including a signed copy of the bid form conditions.
• The bidder must agree to enter into a contract with the Town of Jamaica to perform and furnish all work as specified in the bid specifications.
• The bidder must understand that no additional cost will be allowed without a written and approved change order.
