Description
The Georgia Department of Transportation is seeking qualified consultants to provide Overhead/Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) services for highway projects. The selected consultants will be responsible for accurately identifying the quality of subsurface utility information needed for highway plans and acquiring and managing that level of information during the development of a highway project. The services should conform to standards and guidelines as described in Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Overhead Subsurface Utility Engineering publications. The final work shall be completed such that all known utilities are graphically depicted in both a digital and hard copy/plan sheet format.
• The Prime Consultant MUST be prequalified by GDOT in the area class(es) listed below: Overhead/Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE)
• The Team (either the Prime Consultant and/or one or more of their sub-consultant team members) MUST be prequalified by GDOT in the area class(es) listed below: Utility Coordination, Overhead/Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE)
• Anticipated Key Team Leaders: Lead CADD Technician, SUE Project Manager, Lead Designator, Professional Engineer, Registered Land Surveyor
