Description
The North Carolina Department of Natural and Cultural Resources is seeking a qualified vendor to perform lawn maintenance services for the Western Office located in Asheville, North Carolina. The contract term will be three years, beginning August 1, 2026, and ending July 30, 2029. The vendor will be responsible for providing all equipment, fertilizer, grass seed, and other supplies needed to perform lawn maintenance. The services include mowing, edging, leaf removal, fertilization, and snow and ice removal. The vendor must also provide transition assistance if the contract is not renewed or is canceled.
Some key requirements and responsibilities of the vendor include:
* Performing lawn maintenance services according to the schedule and specifications provided
* Providing all necessary equipment and supplies
* Coordinating service visits with the Department Contract Manager
* Ensuring that at least one person performing grounds maintenance services speaks fluent English
* Providing transition assistance if the contract is not renewed or is canceled
* Billing the State monthly for lawn maintenance performed during the previous month
* Ensuring that invoices match the purchase order line for line.
