Intent to Single Source for Carlson Software Survey Equipment and Software

The City of Tampa is seeking to single source the purchase of Carlton Software Survey Equipment and Software. The equipment in question is the Carlson BRx7, a multi-frequency, multi-GNS receiver designed for high-precision land surveying, mapping, and establishing control points. The City requires the vendor to be an authorized manufacturer's distributor or dealer who can provide warranty service, maintenance, or repairs for the equipment. The vendor must also meet certain insurance requirements, including commercial general liability, automobile liability, and worker's compensation insurance. * The equipment must be capable of supporting GPS, GLONALL, Galileo, BeiDou, and QZSS constellations. * The equipment must integrate RTK capability and be compatible with Carlson SurvCE/SurvPC/CAD Software. * The vendor must provide warranty service, maintenance, or repairs for the equipment. * The vendor must meet the City's insurance requirements, including commercial general liability, automobile liability, and worker's compensation insurance.
