The City of Salina is seeking qualified contractors to perform surface preparation and painting of structural steel and related components on the North Ohio Street Bridge (≈ 531 ft) and adjacent fixtures. The scope includes fence systems, concrete barriers, railroad rail, and a variety of light‑pole assemblies with multi‑color finishes. Bidders must be pre‑qualified through KDOT for Work Type Q – Painting Structural Steel and must submit sealed bids by the October 29 2026 deadline.
• Scope covers bridge‑mounted roadway fence, pedestrian fence with integrated lighting, concrete barrier, 24 street‑light poles (6 on the bridge) and 46 pedestrian poles, plus 5 bollard lights and railroad rail on the barrier.
