Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a custom-designed storage system for the Sterile Storage area of the Sterile Processing Service at the Brooklyn Campus of VA New York Harbor Healthcare System. The system should maximize and organize the available storage space, have mobile and modular racks, and be easy to clean. The contractor will be responsible for assembling and installing the storage system, testing it for safety and functionality, and providing a warranty. The project duration is approximately 2 months.
Some key features of the storage system include:
* Color-coded racks by service
* Labeled locations for each instrument tray/container
* Adjustable and modular shelves with rounded corners to prevent tears in instrument tray wrappers
* Drawers with adjustable dividers for instruments in peel packs
* Easy-to-clean surfaces
* Mobile and modular design for easy transportation and storage
