Description
The City of Benicia is seeking a qualified company to provide instrumentation and controls services for the Wastewater Treatment Plant. The selected company will be responsible for providing SCADA integration and programming services, PLC support, and becoming the wastewater division's "full-service" control system service provider. The scope of work includes SCADA programming and troubleshooting, PLC programming and troubleshooting, lift station PLC programming and troubleshooting, and WWTP automated control system support. The contract may be renewed for two additional fiscal years based on mutual agreement.
Key aspects of the job include:
• Providing programming, integration, and troubleshooting support for the Wastewater Treatment Plant's SCADA system
• Providing programming, integration, and troubleshooting support for the in-plant PLC banks and associated I/O racks
• Providing programming, integration, and troubleshooting support for the City's 23 sewage lift stations
• Providing troubleshooting support for automated control system within the plant
• Demonstrating the ability to provide emergency service for after-hours, weekends, or holiday support
