Vehicle Towing & Storage Services

The City of St. Petersburg is seeking a vendor to provide towing, vehicle removal, and storage services on an as-needed basis. The vendor will be responsible for providing all necessary equipment and personnel to perform the services, including towing and recovery vehicles, storage facilities, and security measures. The contract will be for a period of three years, with the option to renew for two additional one-year periods. The vendor will be required to provide a cost proposal, which will be evaluated based on the lowest cost for service calls. • The vendor must have a minimum of five years of experience in providing towing and recovery services. • The vendor must possess a current wrecker operator license and obtain a CDL if the equipment operated under this contract requires one. • The vendor must have the ability to obtain the minimum insurance requirements set forth in the agreement. • The vendor must be free from legal and regulatory matters that might prevent the vendor from fulfilling the obligations of the agreement. • The vendor must provide all necessary equipment and personnel to perform the services. • The vendor must maintain a primary storage facility within the City limits of St. Petersburg. • The vendor must provide a cost proposal, which will be evaluated based on the lowest cost for service calls.
