The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board (PLCB) is accepting bids for the rights to file transfer applications for certain expired restaurant liquor licenses. The licenses being auctioned cannot be transferred outside of the originating county. Bidders may bid on one or more licenses, but each bid package must include a bid surety of $5,000.00 or 5% of the total bid amount, whichever is greater. The bid amount must be in whole dollars and must be no less than $25,000.00. The Selected Bidder will be awarded the right to file a transfer application for the license, which is conditioned upon the PLCB’s timely receipt of full bid payment.
• The PLCB reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids received in response to this IFB.
• The Selected Bidder shall pay to the PLCB the full bid amount as set forth in the Notice of Selection no later than 30 calendar days from the date of the Issuing Officer’s Notice of Selection.
• The transfer application shall be processed by the PLCB in the same manner as any other transfer application and shall be subject to the same restrictions as any other transfer application.
• The Selected Bidder or its assignee shall file an application to transfer the license within six months of the date of the Notice of Selection.
