26Z7AG4 – Replace BOP Steam Kettles

The Federal Bureau of Prisons is seeking to replace steam kettles in 55 institutions across the United States. The project involves supplying and shipping 193 commercial food service steam kettles. The kettles must meet specific salient characteristics, including tamper-resistant controls, reinforced lid/cover, security-oriented exterior construction, and anchoring provisions. The kettles will be used for commercial/institutional food service in correctional facilities. • The kettles must be brand name or equal to products manufactured by Cleveland or Groen. • The contractor must provide a warranty with a minimum of 1 year parts and labor coverage and 5 years coverage on the pressure vessel/steam jacket. • The contractor must coordinate with the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) for equipment delivery and installation. • The project requires the supply and shipping of various types of steam kettles, including gas-fired, direct steam, and electric steam kettles.
