Description
The Department of State Hospitals is seeking a single prime contractor to provide comprehensive drapery and blind cleaning, repair, alteration, and related services across six state‑hospital facilities in California. Work is performed on an as‑needed basis, requires the contractor to supply all labor, equipment, vehicles, insurance, and background‑check compliance, and includes responsibilities for replacing any items damaged during laundering. The contract runs for one year, beginning 1 July 2026.
• Clean, wash, dry, and re‑hang approximately 9,500 ft of drapery and 300 shower & 475 privacy curtains.
• Perform repairs/alterations (hemming, re‑pleating, rod/track work) and replace damaged blinds or drapery as needed.
• Maintain all required certifications, insurance, performance and payment bonds, and meet strict data‑security and health‑screening requirements.
