Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking information from potential vendors for a contract to provide colorectal cancer screening mailed test kits to Veterans. The contract will be an IDIQ contract with a base period of five years and one optional period of five years. The contractor will be responsible for mailing FIT collection kits to Veterans, providing advance notifications, and conducting follow-up communications. The contractor must also provide monthly progress reports and maintain a record-keeping system to track the number of kits mailed and notifications accomplished. Budget estimate

$30,000,000 – $50,000,000

The budget for this contract can be estimated based on the number of kits mailed and the cost per kit. Assuming an average cost of $10 per kit, and considering the contractor will mail up to 60,000 kits per month, the monthly budget could be around $600,000. For the base period of five years, the total budget could be around $36 million. However, this is a rough estimate and the actual budget may vary depending on the terms of the contract and the actual number of kits mailed. Factors that may influence the likely payment range include: The number of kits mailed per month The cost per kit The length of the contract The terms of the contract, including any options for renewal
