Virginia Tech is seeking a qualified vendor to provide a term contract for comprehensive maintenance, repair, and emergency support of its campus furnace, boiler, and related mechanical equipment. The contract is initially for one year with the possibility of up to nine one‑year renewals. • Scope covers roughly 300 pieces of heating, boiler, and HVAC equipment across multiple campus locations. • Vendor must staff a primary mechanic onsite five days per week and provide 24‑hour technical support. • All labor, parts, tools, transportation, permits, and incidentals must be included in the lump‑sum price; repairs above $1,000 require cost submission and approval. • Mandatory insurance, background checks, and compliance with Virginia Tech safety and key‑control policies are required.
