Development and Accreditation of Mental Health Psychosocial Clubhouse Services

The County of Shasta is seeking a consultant to develop and accredit a Clubhouse International facility to provide Clubhouse Services, which are community-based psychosocial rehabilitation programs designed to support individuals with serious mental illness. The consultant will be responsible for locating and securing a suitable Clubhouse location, developing a Start-Up Group, implementing the Clubhouse model, and achieving Clubhouse International accreditation within four years. The consultant will also provide staffing, training, and support to ensure the success of the Clubhouse. Some key aspects of the project include: * Locating and securing a Clubhouse location that meets the requirements of Clubhouse International's Quality Standards * Developing a Start-Up Group to implement the Clubhouse model * Implementing the Clubhouse model, including the Work-Ordered Day and Transitional Employment programs * Achieving Clubhouse International accreditation within four years * Providing staffing, training, and support to ensure the success of the Clubhouse * Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards. The County anticipates allocating approximately $1,500,000 per fiscal year to one or more consultants. The funding will be through California Behavioral Health Community-Based Organized Networks of Equitable Care and Treatment (BHCONNECT) and Medi-Cal reimbursement.
