Description
The Commonwealth of Massachusetts (EOTSS) is seeking a qualified vendor to provide end‑to‑end migration of its Amazon FSx Windows file shares to a Microsoft SharePoint Online GCC tenant for the Executive Office of Veterans Services. The scope includes discovery, data inventory, governance planning, SharePoint architecture design, pilot execution, phased migration, validation, training, change‑management assistance, and post‑migration hyper‑care support. The contract will be awarded in late November 2026, with all migration work required to be completed by 30 June 2027.
• Perform a discovery phase to inventory data volume, file counts, metadata, and permissions.
• Design SharePoint Online site architecture, metadata taxonomy, and security model aligned with Commonwealth standards.
• Execute a pilot migration, then a single‑cut‑over wave‑based migration using approved tools while preserving metadata and permissions.
• Provide training‑the‑trainer, change‑management guidance, and 2‑3 weeks of post‑go‑live support.
