Working in the Edge of Chaos Training

The County of Orange, Sheriff-Coroner is seeking bids for the Working in the Edge of Chaos Training. The training will teach Incident Commanders and decision makers the specific knowledge, skills, and attitudes required to respond to critical incidents. The course will be 80 hours long and will be CA POST certified. The contractor will be responsible for providing all training materials and handling all aspects of the course. • The training will be for up to 18 County employees. • The course will be divided into two parts: 48-hour Critical Incident Management/Working in the Edge of Chaos Part 1 and 32-hour Critical Incident Management-Advanced/Working in the Edge of Chaos-Part 2. • The contractor will provide a certificate of completion to each County attendee once the training is completed. • The training will take place in an Orange County Sheriff’s Department facility. • The contractor will be responsible for submitting the POST roster.
