Pool of Vendors, Master Agreement to Provide Mortuary Services

Texas A&M University Health Science Center is establishing a master‑order pool of vendors to provide comprehensive mortuary services for its College Station campus and associated facilities. The contract will cover the full lifecycle of donor remains, from removal through final disposition, and includes related documentation and transportation. • Initial removal of remains within a 35‑mile radius and mileage‑based transport extensions (up to 200 mi). • Embalming services (first‑injection and full), death‑certificate preparation, and amended certificates. • Transportation of cadavers to/from the MREB Cadaver Lab in Bryan, TX, and cremation services (ashes returned or scattered). • Holding fees, documentation fees, and optional additional charges; all services to be performed on a per‑service, fixed‑fee basis under a 5‑year master agreement (1‑year term plus up to four renewals). • Vendors must maintain required licenses, comprehensive insurance (CGL, auto, workers’ comp), and submit a State of Texas Subcontracting Plan; a W‑9 is required for non‑electronic submissions.
