The National Institutes of Health (NIH) intends to negotiate and award a contract without providing for full and open competition to Agilent Technologies, Inc. for the automation of NGS library preps using an Agilent Magnis NGS prep system. The contract is for the National Cancer Institute, and the procurement is being made by the Surgery Branch under the direction of Dr. Steven A. Rosenberg, MD/PhD, Branch Chief. The NIH has used Agilent Technologies' NGS library prep kits for the past 4-5 years and wants to maintain continuity within the protocol.
