Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to provide preventative maintenance services for GE Healthcare imaging equipment located at the Bay Pines VA Health Care System and Lee County VA Clinic. The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, transportation, tools, test equipment, and technical expertise necessary to perform manufacturer-recommended preventive maintenance services. The services shall be performed in accordance with current GE Healthcare specifications and preventive maintenance procedures to ensure equipment reliability, operational readiness, and compliance with manufacturer recommendations. Some key features of the contract include:
• The contractor shall perform preventive maintenance services on various GE Healthcare imaging equipment, including CT, MR, NM, and XR systems.
• The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, supervision, transportation, tools, test equipment, and technical expertise.
• The services shall be performed in accordance with current GE Healthcare specifications and preventive maintenance procedures.
• The contractor shall ensure that the equipment is operable and available for use 98% of the normal operating hours.
• The contractor shall provide documentation of services performed, including a detailed description of the work done and the parts used.
