The Educational Purchasing Interlocal Cooperative at Region 6 (EPIC6) is seeking proposals for musical instruments, sheet music, supplies, and services on an "as needed" basis for a period of five years. The selected vendors will provide products and services to public agencies and certain non-profit organizations. The proposal should include all listings of musical instruments, parts, sheet music, and related repair services. The evaluation criteria include purchase price, vendor reputation, quality of goods and services, total long-term cost, extent to which the goods and services meet the needs, vendor's past relationship, and experience. • The term of the agreement is for five years with an annual option for renewal. • The vendor will pay a fee of 1.5% on actual sales to EPIC6 members. • The proposal should be submitted electronically through the ION Wave bidding software. • The evaluation criteria are based on the Texas Education Code § 44.031. • The proposer must agree to abide by federal regulations regarding subcontracting with small and minority businesses. • The proposer must provide pricing that is equal to or better than the pricing offered to other customers. • The proposer must agree to lower prices if circumstances permit to provide better value to EPIC6 members.
