The University is procuring all equipment and associated installation for the Matthaei Pool Renovation, including new filtration units, chemical‑injection systems, pumps, VFDs, control panels, and corrosion‑resistant electrical enclosures. The work must be performed in an occupied pool area, comply with Wayne State wage rates, and meet strict safety, environmental, and Buy‑American preferences. Bidders must attend the mandatory pre‑bid conference, submit a single‑PDF lump‑sum bid, and provide required bonds and insurance.
• Supply and install pool‑filter, pump, and chemical‑treatment equipment (38‑in. opening requirement).
• Provide NEMA 4X stainless‑steel disconnect enclosures and PVC conduit/junction boxes for corrosive pump rooms.
• Manage site logistics (dumpster, $9 parking fee per access) and maintain noise/dust controls in an occupied facility.
• Adhere to prevailing‑wage (WSU) rates, submit certified payroll, and furnish performance & labor‑material bonds.
