Description
The Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) is seeking a contractor to provide Fats and Bones Removal Services at the Travis AFB Commissary. The contractor will be responsible for the lawful pickup, removal, and disposal of supermarket animal and fish by-products, fats, and bones, as well as used rotisserie chicken oil. The services will be provided in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW) and contract terms and conditions. The contractor must comply with all local, state, and federal laws, regulations, and ordinances applicable to the removal, transportation, and disposal of the materials.
Some key aspects of the job include:
• Providing all labor, supervision, equipment, transportation, and services necessary to perform the removal/pickup/disposal of the materials
• Complying with all applicable laws, regulations, and ordinances
• Maintaining and acquiring all necessary permits
• Providing a tank to store used rotisserie chicken oil
• Performing pickups in accordance with the frequency schedule in the contract
• Leaving a pickup receipt showing the date of each pickup, type of commodity, and estimated weight
• Providing a monthly pickup report for the prior month's service
