This solicitation establishes a statewide term contract for the supply of microscopes, accessories, parts, consumables, and related on‑site service for South Carolina governmental units. The contract is divided into two lots: Lot A awards the highest evaluated percentage discount off manufacturers’ catalog prices for hardware, while Lot B awards the lowest all‑inclusive hourly (and optional daily) service rates for maintenance and support. The State will evaluate discounts using a weighted formula (70 % microscopes/accessories, 30 % parts & supplies) and will award on a line‑item basis. The contract runs for an initial one‑year term beginning 10 September 2026, with up to four optional one‑year renewals (maximum five years). An administrative services fee of 1.25 % of total sales is remitted quarterly.
