HWY 58 Sound Wall 01 Construction

The City of Golden is seeking bids for the construction of a sound wall on the north side of HWY 58. The project includes installation of Type 3 Guardrail, minor drainage reconstruction, alley restoration, and dead tree/debris removal. The contractor will assume the role of permittee and must comply with the CDOT Special Use Permit Terms and Conditions. The project is expected to start in the spring of 2026 and be completed by the end of 2026. Key work items include: • Clearing and Grubbing and Removal of Debris • Drilled Shaft (36") • Fence Concrete (Noise Barrier) • Guardrail Type 3 (6-3 Post Spacing) • Traffic Control The City is committed to conducting a final pre-construction community meeting to discuss construction impacts with adjacent residents.
