Description
The City of Mobile is seeking a qualified janitorial contractor to provide comprehensive cleaning services for its Cruise Terminal. The work is divided into pre‑cruise, cruise, and post‑cruise days and includes restroom sanitation, carpet vacuuming, interior glass cleaning, gangway and elevator cleaning, trash removal, and restocking of supplies. The contract is a fixed‑price, one‑year base term with two optional one‑year extensions, and the lowest responsible and responsive bidder will be awarded the contract.
• Scope covers all janitorial duties for three operational periods (pre‑cruise, cruise, post‑cruise).
• Minimum staffing of two workers per day; all personnel must possess TWIC badges.
• Contractor must provide insurance, E‑Verify enrollment, and comply with local‑preference and disadvantaged‑business participation requirements.
• No overtime allowed for base scope; overtime rates apply only to extra services.
