Electronic Waste Recycling Services

The City of Pasadena is seeking the services of an electronic waste recycling company to securely recycle electronic waste and provide recycling services at large City events. The selected vendor will be required to provide electronic recycling trucks and staffing for a minimum of seven hours at three to four City Electronic Waste Recycling Events per year. The vendor will also be required to provide at least six collection bins for general electronic waste and six barrels for batteries and CFL bulbs to the Pasadena City Yards and collect contents on an as-needed basis. The contract will be awarded based on the previous experience with similarly sized municipal recycling events and the cost of the services meeting the requested criteria. Key aspects of the job include: * Providing electronic waste recycling services at large City events * Providing electronic recycling trucks and staffing for a minimum of seven hours at three to four City Electronic Waste Recycling Events per year * Providing at least six collection bins for general electronic waste and six barrels for batteries and CFL bulbs to the Pasadena City Yards and collecting contents on an as-needed basis * Meeting the minimum qualifications, including having at least five years of experience in the electronic recycling business and demonstrated technical expertise to conduct recycling activities and properly recycle large amounts of electronics
