Pharmacy Consulting Services

The County of San Mateo is seeking proposals for Pharmacy Consulting Services to review purchase history, recommend manufacture/product substitutions, and review purchase/formulary to reduce costs while maintaining clinical effectiveness. The selected consultant will provide services for a term of 3.5 years. The proposal should include a technical proposal, fee proposal, and other required documents. • The consultant will review purchase history from wholesalers and identify cases where the County is not receiving the contracted rate. • The consultant will review purchases and recommend manufacture/product substitutions to reduce costs. • The consultant will review purchase/formulary and recommend therapeutic swaps to reduce costs while maintaining clinical effectiveness. • The consultant will provide a detailed project approach and schedule. • The consultant will provide information on their firm qualifications, team qualifications, and experience. • The consultant will provide a fee proposal and other required documents.
