Description
The Department of Adult Correction is seeking bids for the replacement of three defective heat exchangers within the PVI water heater system at Warren Correctional Institution. The contract will be awarded to the vendor offering the lowest price that meets the specifications. The vendor must provide a firm fixed price, all inclusive of labor, materials, transportation, general and administrative overhead, and profit. The vendor should complete delivery within 45 consecutive calendar days after receipt of purchase order.
* The replacement of three defective heat exchangers within the PVI water heater system
* The heat exchangers assist with providing space heating for the facility, supplying domestic hot water throughout the institution, and providing sanitation by generating steam to power equipment used in large scale cleaning areas
* The vendor must be authorized by the manufacturer to distribute or resell the products and/or maintenance offered in this IFB
* The vendor must provide a signed statement from the manufacturer confirming authorization upon request from the agency
* The vendor must provide a copy of the manufacturer’s standard warranty with the bid response
