Description
The California Department of Highway Patrol is seeking a qualified HVAC contractor to replace the heating, ventilation, and air‑conditioning systems at its Buellton Area Office (166 Industrial Way, Buellton, CA 93427). The work includes removal of existing units, installation of two new HVAC units (one 2‑ton and one 3‑ton), associated ductwork, electrical, refrigerant handling, crane/rigging services, and a 10‑year parts warranty plus a 1‑year labor warranty. The contract will be a single‑award lump‑sum agreement, with mandatory DVBE participation of at least 5 % and other public‑works requirements.
• Replace one 2‑ton and one 3‑ton HVAC unit, including curb adapters, air handlers, piping, electrical, and controls.
• Provide crane and rigging services, remove and recycle all old equipment, and perform start‑up testing and verification.
• Deliver a 10‑year parts warranty and a 1‑year labor warranty; comply with prevailing‑wage, insurance, DVBE, and other state procurement regulations.
