The Borough of Metuchen is seeking qualified contractors to replace the existing HVAC system at the Metuchen Senior Center with a modern Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) heat‑pump system, including a Dedicated Outdoor Air System (DOAS), controls, and associated electrical work. The project requires demolition of existing equipment, installation of new refrigerant piping, ductwork, and controls, and a one‑year post‑completion maintenance agreement, all while maintaining indoor temperatures between 68 °F–76 °F in an occupied building. The work must be completed within 150 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed, with liquidated damages for late completion.
